Utilities & Variable Charges
Water, sewer, or other utilities are not included in your rent. Residents are responsible for payment each month based on actual usage. These charges are billed separately from rent and are outlined in your lease agreement. Failure to pay variable charges may constitute a lease violation.
Pursuant to Virginia Code § 55.1-1204.1, ‘Rent’ includes all money owed to the landlord under the lease agreement, excluding the security deposit. For updated rental rates, please check our floor plan availability page(s).

The Lofts at Meadowcreek Apartments in Charlottesville, Virginia, offer numerous benefits for pet owners, fostering a welcoming environment for both residents and their animals. The Lofts offers features that enhance a pet’s quality of life, including access to nearby outdoor spaces for walks and play.
The Lofts at Meadowcreek Apartments provide pet-friendly apartments with the following conditions:
- Pets shall not weigh more than 50 lbs. at full maturity. A maximum of two pets is allowed per apartment.
- The following breeds are restricted from The Lofts: Pit Bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Chows, and Spitz.
- A non-refundable one-time fee is required for all pets.
- Additional fees are required.

We have nothing but great things to say about the management and the apartment itself. Maintenance requests were attended to promptly when needed, appliances/fixtures are modern, the sq. footage is unbeatable for the rent, location is quiet but still within reach of grocery stores, and I love that we can have grill outs on the public patio. Plus granite counter tops, ceiling fan remotes, efficient heating/cooling, and fantastic natural light in every room.
