Blessing of the Hounds

Celebrate the historic custom of blessing hunting hounds, horses, and participants in a scenic countryside setting on Thanksgiving. This gathering combines reverence, heritage, and community spirit with a warm welcome to families, pets, and visitors of all ages. After the blessing, enjoy hot cider and hot chocolate in the parish hall and observe the appointed hunt setting as part of the experience. The service includes an offering that supports local charities and underscores the spirit of giving that defines the holiday season.
